Attributed to William Wood, portrait of a young woman wearing a white dress, miniature on ivory, oval, 7 x 6cm, contained in a gold frame with swept and pearl set hair to the reverse. (Exemption Ref AZHBF88M)
Overall condition is fair to good. There are no splits or chips to the ivory ground. there are no losses of paint to the portrait. colours are strong, The hair mounted to the reverse is in good order and set with half pearls. The frame bears no hallmarks or marks.They have ben in a private collection from here in Devon and been brought from auction and antique dealers over the past forty years
